OneCheck is a bill-splitting app built and operated by Hieu Phung. This policy explains what data the app handles and what it does not.

Short version: OneCheck does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server. Everything stays on your device.

  1. What we collect We do not collect any data from you. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not know who you are, what device you use, or how you use the app.
  2. Camera OneCheck uses your camera only when you tap "Scan Receipt." The photo you take is held in memory just long enough to extract item prices using Apple's on-device Vision text recognition. The photo is never saved to your photo library, never uploaded, and never shared with us or anyone else. As soon as the scan finishes, the image is discarded.
  3. Local storage Bills you save to History, the theme you select, and your in-app purchases are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData and UserDefaults. This information never leaves your phone. You can delete it at any time by clearing history in the app or by deleting the app from your device.
  4. In-app purchases OneCheck offers optional paid theme packs. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details, your Apple ID, or your billing address. Apple shares with us only the anonymized fact that a purchase occurred, so that the purchased theme can unlock on your device.
  5. Children's privacy OneCheck does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated appropriate for all ages.
  6. Third parties OneCheck does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social media SDKs. The only outside service the app communicates with is Apple's StoreKit, solely to verify your in-app purchases.
  7. Changes to this policy If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
